For this project, I created a number-based lettermark for the area code of Denver, Colorado (720). The lettermark needed to possess expressive qualities that represented and communicated certain characteristics of the city. I was also responsible for determining the supporting design elements of the mark, including the color and secondary typeface. All of these elements are presented in a booklet showing the research, process, and different design decisions made throughout.

Shown above is a select spread from the final booklet I made around the mark. This spread shows how the different design elements (color, type, and lettermark) work together with an included image. All design decisions for this project were based on definitive characteristics of Denver determined at an early stage, and they all work to speak the same visual language.
The booklet, in its entirety, can be viewed above. The booklet includes the development of the mark, the type and colors chosen to pair with the design, as well as some real-world mockups. I also included some examples of how all of these design elements could work together, and the rationale for the individual decisions I made.
