Typographic Portrait; Adobe Illustrator
This is a typographic portrait I made in my Typography class.
We were asked to create the image of a figure, celebrity, or artist purely with text.
We were encouraged to use song lyrics or quotes attributed to this person.
I chose Björk and used both song lyrics and titles from her music.
This project required me to use the pen tool to create lines that match the contours of her face.
Then, I used the type on a path tool so words could follow these lines.
