Migration problems , related with having to leave the country or the city of origin because of security , economic , social and cultural reasons , have been a concern for the whole world for a long time. Turkey has always been a country which has been confronted with the problem of migration in history. In fact , it is the country which hosts the biggest Syrian refugee population in the world at present. The project area , which is located in Besiktas , an existing parking area between Bahceshir University and Four Seasons Hotel , is adjacent to Ciragan Street on one side , and to Bosphorus on the other side. The project is design a ' Center for Migration Studies ' , which meets the basic accommodation requirements of the researchers. In addition , there are spaces with socail and scientific purposes , such as a library , working areas for researchers , meeting rooms , multi-functional spaces providing the possibility for lectures open to the public , kitchen and eating areas , activity areas , open-closed sports areas , lobby , administrative area , etc.
