SEA WAVES

This drawings are part of the series SEA WAVES. They are all created after memory or from imagination in graphical abstracted style. Early drawings from the series are more

connected with real apperances of natural phenomenon. 

Present drawings are more surreal, especially in the field of color. The motif of sea waves becomes the field of different possibilities for expressing my own internal visions. 

There are three small series in this moment: SUN AND SEA, THE EVIL SEA and THE WORLD OF DUALISM. 

The drawings SUN AND SEA I, II and III are inspired with sunset colors on the seaside.

The drawings The Evil Sea I, II and III are kind of inverted images of sunset. I was playing with the shapes and colors of sun reflection on the sea waves. The color combinations are unreal which gives the drawings surreal, fantasy dimension with symbolic note.

The drawing THE WORLD OF DUALISM I shows a constant battle between the opposite dimensions, which in the THE WORLD OF DUALISM II and III turned into destructive forces.

All drawings are created with colored inks and measure between 15 and 42 cm.
