Anona United Methodist Church 2021 Stewardship Campaign

The Anona United Methodist Church 2021 Stewardship Campaign will focus on the generosity of the Anona congregation and how it lifts "the least of these" in our community and around the world by lifting "generous moments" such as the Serve Pinellas program, Pop the Trunk, the Ridgecrest reading program, the Anona Healthcare team, and even the nimbleness of our Anona congregation to quickly adapt to a "new" type of church during a global pandemic. Generosity comes in many forms (time, treasures, and talents), and this campaign intends to highlight Anona's "Year of Missions." I created the campaign based upon Matthew 25:37-40 which includes all of the print and digital materials for this year’s campaign. I also wrote all the copy (below) and led brand meetings with the Stewardship committee.

Be Generous at Anona

God has blessed each of us with abilities and gifts that are unique. We use these gifts—our talents, time, and treasures—to take care of ourselves, each other, and our world. We share our gifts, knowing it is NOT how much we have but what we DO with WHAT WE HAVE that is important. Further, sharing our gifts is a symbolic act—offering ourselves in service and devotion to God.

At Anona, we grow spiritually together, volunteer together, and make the world better together. To embody these ideas is to grow closer to both God and each other. That is why we invite you to be generous at Anona.

Be Generous…

With Your Talents
God gave each of us unique spiritual gifts to use in furthering Christ's work. We should use these abilities to care for ourselves but also others and our world. Be generous with your talents or spiritual gifts at Anona—whether it is as a small group leader, volunteering for Pop the Trunk, preparing food for the Anona youth—to glorify God and serve others.

With Your Time
Put your faith into action! Although God gave you a spiritual gift, it is up to you to be generous with your time. Invest in the life of a child at Ridgecrest Elementary and teach her the joy of reading. Volunteer with the Anona Media Team to ensure that each Anona member is equipped with the technology to stay "connected" with our church family. Look at each day as an opportunity to act on your love for Christ as a member of the Anona family!

With Your Treasures
Generosity with your treasure is a direct way to further Anona's mission—to witness and share God's love and salvation in our local community and around the world. Giving through a grateful and generous spirit can strengthen your commitment to Christ and a sense of fulfillment, knowing you are carrying out obedience to God.
