Lej lagrev
The secret lake
We came across this lake looking through instagram, unfortunately no posts had some information about the location. So we set off and looked at our maps. After a while we recognized the shape of the lake with one in Engadin.
There is no real trail for this lake, it is more like a trace with some cairn here and there. The lake sits right in the middle of the moraine of the dying Lagrev glacier.
Shortly after we reached our chosen point we found ourselves inside some clouds. A storm followed leaving behind a double rainbow right above the lake.

The evening went smooth, the sky cleared hour by hour. After a few our of sleep the sky got clear and dark enough to see the milky way raising right up from fuorcla Lagrev.
After a good night of sleep we woke up for sunrise, the spot we chose wasn't the best. The sky was completely clear and we were in the wrong position, looking straight into the sun.
