Most of the “waterproof earbuds” on the market use the nano-coating method to resist water. However, the coating is easily corroded after only 1-3 months of usage. 
100% IPX7 Waterproof Secured by its Innovative SweatShield ™ Technology

We developed this unique technology that hermetically seals the internal circuitry so EarFun Air will keep every single bead of sweat on the outside, where it belongs. ​​​​​​​
With its highly interactive and intuitive in-ear detection, music plays automatically once the earbuds are put in the ear and pauses instantly the earbuds are removed. Furthermore, touch command is prevented from being activated in case of false touch when earbuds are off, which essentially optimizes user’s experiences. Additionally, volume control is also readily accessible by the touch control on both earbuds while a sizable number of earbuds on the market don’t offer this feature.
EarFun Air utilizes capacitive touch sensor with three-point based contact so that it can accurately identify movement whether users are putting on the earbuds or removing them from their ears. Compared with the infrared distance sensor, EarFun Air’s commissioning and detection process is much more precise, accurate and cost-effective. Without exerting extra pressure on the ear, its touch button uses one-point based capacitive sensor, hence enhancing upgrade its comfort level.
