Designing for Good.

Lead visual communicator, co-curator and co-organizer producing a community messaging initiative and culminating art activation event for the Englewood Arts Collective. We transformed an abandoned vacant lot and storefront into an “socially distant art amusement park”. We partnered with the community org RAGE (Residents of Greater Englewood), and collaborated with organizations Made in Englewood, Alt Space Chicago, and We All Live Here.

We transformed a locally known “unsafe hotspot” into a joyous day centered around art and community. Now, the site is a budding sustainable community-led free market.

In addition to logistical planning and production of the event, I designed:

• All promotional materials for social and print media
• Collateral day-of, including tote bags and customized coloring books.
