Designed this a while back for someone who wanted a logo for what their side business. When researching Feng Shui branding I saw a lot of usage of the Yin & Yang symbol. Some had used the Chinese coins as well...I tried to experiment with different things like koi, Chinese characters, maybe the compass they use for finding points in Feng Shui. 

Out of all of them the client preferred the bamboo. Bamboo can be considered lucky. It's also tied to Chinese folklore, where if someone is given bamboo as New Year gift that person will experience good fortune and prosperity. I'm glad it turned out well. Granted, I need to improve further. So I have some passion projects on the side that I'll be posting soon. I'm also trying to figure out how to rebrand my personal logo. But that's a topic for another day!
