WHAT IS DIGITAL ASIA CONFERENCE (DAC)?
The 2013 Digital Asia Conference: The Orient Rising is a project of Globaltronics, Inc., the Outdoor Advertising Association of the Philippines (OAAP), and the Advertising Board of the Philippines (ADBOARD). It will showcase the emerging trends in digital media displays and content bringing together local and international icons of the digital media industry to capture a glimpse of the Asian roadmap.

 

The company where I work for wanted to come up with a design base on the theme of the first Digital Asia Conference whichg is the "Orient Rising", after conducting several readings and research, I came up with the idea of using patterns which is abundant in the culture of asian countries especially in the Philippines (ex. weaving).

The pattern and the colors works out for me. After creating this pattern my problem is how to add an Asian look on the design, again I opened my browser and figured out why not put popular landmarks on the pattern. After getting the list of several popular landmarks in Asia, I started putting some pictures on the pattern,

For me that's it! I can now start creating the collaterals needed for the event.
