A step wise Guide to make a digital portrait

Step 01: Fixing the Canvas and Preparing the Outline.
The process of portrait begins by fixing of the canvas. This is achieved through Photoshop, where a new file is opened with a selective size. This is followed by creating an outline of the image using a color, on a new layer.
Step 02: Filling Base Color for Skin.
Once the above step is completed to satisfaction, a color palette of shades, tints and neutrals are made for the skin. A new layer is then added and a neutral color with full opacity is used as the base color for the face.
Step 03: Detailing the Eyes
This is then followed by creating a new layer yet again, where the base color of the eyes is filled using a brush with full opacity using colors. Subsequently, a new layer is created for highlights, shadows and details for the eyes
Step 04: Detailing the Face and Lips
Following a color palette, where the base color of the Face and Lips is filled using a brush with full opacity adding shadows and highlights wherever necessary.
Step 05: Painting the hairs
Further, hairs are painted using the color palette for the hairs in another layer adding details, shadows and highlights wherever necessary using a brush with full opacity.
Step 05: Painting the Dress
In a similar way, the base color, shadows and highlights of the dress are painted by adding details. Here too, a separate color palette is fixed for this.
Step 05: Painting the Background
Finally adding the background to the master piece with highlights and shadows with a textured brush with 25% opacity.
