VENICE BIENNALE OF ARCHITECTURE, MONDITALIA

VENICE, 2014
OMA*AMO

The Arsenale exhibition for the Venice Biennale in Architecture presents a scan of Italy, established by 82 films, 41 architectural projects, and a merger of architecture with La Biennale's dance, music, theatre, and film sections.

The 41 projects move from south to north of Italy (from colonial Libya to the Alps) along the Corderie building. They bend toward the social and the political, united by a curtain printed with the "Tabula Peutingeriana" a 5th Century map running the space’s full length (230 m).
