Personal altars and shrines are often a sacred creation for prayer, reflection, meditation or other specific spiritual pursuits, as well as its possible association to a lost loved one. These shrines and artifact studies present a digitally accessible solution to the questions, how can we mourn the loss of a lifestyle we never thought we would have to forfeit, and how can visual language be used to unite all those sharing this experience of mourning the mundane?
