In a time where life as we knew it has been completely altered, we as humans are finding ourselves nostalgic for the people, places, and things that were in our lives just two months ago. Personal altars and shrines are often a sacred creation for prayer, reflection, meditation or other specific spiritual pursuits, as well as its possible association to a lost loved one. These shrines and artifact studies present a digitally accessible solution to the questions, how can we mourn the loss of a lifestyle we never thought we would have to forfeit, and how can visual language be used to unite all those sharing this experience of mourning the mundane?
