One Kearny Lobby. The new lobby and public artwork design are named Lightfold, and together they constitute the ‘percent for art’ component of the larger development. The design continues the Voussoir Cloud exploration into creating volumetric forms with very thin wood material. Inspiration comes from both the triangular ‘flatiron’ geometry of the project site, and the coffered ceilings found in neighboring historic buildings including the Second Empire style structure that is the centerpiece of the development.
