For a quarter of a century, Graves and Alessi have worked together to produce a large family of household objects. Over 150 products have been brought to market as a result of the highly successful collaboration betwen the designer and manufacturer. The first product by an American designer to be included in the Alessi catalog, Graves' famous Whistling Bird Teakettle, with its inspired mix of classical and pop influences has become an internationally recognized design icon of contemporary design. An Alessi best-seller since 1985, the Whistling Bird Teakettle has since become Alessi's most popular product, having sold over two million units worldwide.
