Expo'70 Osaka

  • United States Pavilion Expo '70
Under a vast translucent air-supported roof, the U.S. Pavilion presented an array of exhibits intended to convey the diversity and creativity of Americans, past and present. Among the major displays were ones on space exploration (it was just a year after the first manned landing on the moon) and a large diversified selection of American folk art. The entire structure and all exhibits were conceived and designed by the joint venture team Davis, Brody, Chermayeff, Geismar, de Harak Associates.
