Columbia Abstract 2012/13

  • This year's publication features a moulded PVC dome that is conceptually tied to the book's theme. The creation of space and the experience within it are key components of successful architecture. The publication begins supposedly as an abstracted array of spherical shapes, but are in fact representative of the spaces throughout the book. The viewer is intended to travel in between the content as though it were a physical space.

Abstract is Columbia University's annual publication for the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. The 2012/2013 edition is represented in print as well as with a complimenting website that showcases the work for the first time within the online format.
