PROJECT N° 6
“LEFRAK“
Bail reform initiative and cap- sule collection. 100% of proceeds from which went to free women and minors held pre-trial on Rikers Island.

Named after the hosing development where Telfar was born and lives to this day — the LEFRAK capsule collection in collaboration with White Castle was released at a party which drew over two thousand people. The collec- tion sold-out immediately.

100% of proceeds went directly to pay bail for minors being held on Rikers Island Prison in New York, through the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, Liberty and Justice fund inaugurating a program and a partnership that has accomplished the largest mass bail-out in US history.

The party was originally planned to take place at the White Castle one block from Telfar’s home in Lefrak — but after receiving all pertinent permits the NYPD shut down our event days before it was to launch, soon after we made the nature of our charity public. We moved the party to another venue with days to go and over 2000 people in attendance with performances by Cam- ron and Blood Orange.

PROJECT N°7
“No One Is Innocent“

We have continued the partnership raising money every year through limit- ed edition items. In April of 2019 we partnered with RFK and MoMA PS1 to organize No One Is Innocent — a public program to create dialog between prison reformers and prison abolitionists — featuring Emily Bazelon, Jack- ie Wang, Pedro Hernandez, Amanda Jack, Tourmaline, Katie Schaffer, and Hannah Black, performances by Standing on the Corner and Total Freedom, and teach-ins by organizations including Bronx Defenders, Court Watch, The Legal Aid Society, Mass Bail Out, and Youth Represent.
